
Member of the Union of Artists and the Association of Art Historians of Russia; member of the jury of children's drawing competitions held annually by the Primorsky Aquarium and the Dubinin School for Gifted Children. Yulia reviews students' diploma works at the Far Eastern State Institute of Arts. She has curated over 200 solo and group exhibitions for Russian and international artists. She has written articles featured in an illustrated book that showcases artists from the Primorsky Krai. In 2014, Yulia received a presidential grant to support her creative project.
Since 2017, she has been organizing the Vladivostok International Biennale of Visual Arts, which for the first time in Russia presented a collection of works from the Guangdong Provincial Museum (China), as well as works by Ilya and Emilia Kabakov, Maria Abramovic, and other artists from Europe, the USA, and Asia. In 2018, Julia co-curated the All-Russian exhibition project "So-Edinenie" in Krasnoyarsk.
