Vita Masliy

Vita Masliy is an accomplished photographer and dedicated photography teacher. She is the visionary behind "Look at Vladivostok," the distinctive annual photography award that stands out with its unique concept in Russia. This prestigious award captures the essence of Vladivostok through an exclusive collection of photos captured within the city throughout the year. The finest photographs selected earn their place in an exquisite annual illustrated book. What's fascinating is that the number of photographs in the book directly corresponds to the number of years Vladivostok has thrived as a city. For instance, the 2023 edition proudly showcased 163 top shots, each one capturing the unique perspective of the city. Even photos taken on a smartphone can compete for a prize.

Since its inception in 2012, the award has seamlessly integrated photography into the public life of Vladivostok, providing a platform to support and nurture photographers while preserving the city's essence through captivating photographs. In 2022, "Look at Vladivostok" won the Grand Prix at the regional Silver Archer Award Far East and was recognized as one of the best projects of the year at the National Silver Archer PR Award for the development of public relations in the category of "Territory Development and Promotion."
