
Alexander has been a prominent figure in the publishing industry since 1985. He has been the founder and chief editor of the renowned literary and historical almanac Rubezh and the head of its eponymous publishing house since 1992. He is also the chairman of the Society for the Preservation of Historical Heritage. As a member of the literary academy and the jury of the Big Book Prize, he commands great respect within the literary community. Notably, Alexander has received prestigious All-Russian awards, including "Man of the Book" and the All-Russian Literary Prize “Far East” named after V. Arseniev.
